December 3, 2012 Email - Transfers have occurred.

Yep, that's right!  Transfers happened.  We got a phone call from the APs the night of transfer calls.  And right when I heard the phone go off, my heart sank.  I was sure it meant they were sending my Awesome trainer, Elder Ingram, to somebody else who president thought needed him as a trainer more.  But then, we received happy news!  Elder Ingram is now the District Leader!  And this means that he is staying here to finish my 12 week training!  We are so excited to have another 6 weeks doing missionary work together.  By the time this transfer is over, Elder Ingram will have 6 months here in the Arroyo West area, his first and only area.

The other two elders who lived in our apartment were transferred out.  We have a new companion with us today, Elder Russel.  He will be in a trio companionship with us until tomorrow when his trainee arrives.

Also, Elder Ingram and I will now be doing a car share with the other companionship in our apartment (Elder Russel and whoever his trainee is).  So every other week, Elder Ingram and I will have a car.  And this will be super nice.

Elder Ingram and I received an awesome family to teach from the other Elders who got transferred out of the area.  They are so completely awesome!  When we met them last night with the other missionaries, they told us, "We are really excited for you to come back so we can study the Book of Mormon together."  When I heard this, I questioned in my head if I actually had understood correctly.  Had they really just told us they wanted us to come back and STUDY the Book of Mormon with them? We are really excited for our next visit with them.

Last night, on our way home for the night (on bikes) it was raining.  Elder Ingram and I got absolutely drenched.  It was only my 3rd experience with rain since coming here to California, and it was definitely the worst of them all.  My rain coat didn't even help me out.  But that might be my fault because I haven't put those fenders on my bike yet and the water was just spraying up my jacket as it came off the tires.  So that was a fun experience.  But I'm thinking I should put those fenders on my bike before our next rain storm.  Although, I may forget to think about it again until I'm getting drenched.  I wish I could just secure them permanently on the bike.  But they are clip on fenders.  And while this is really convenient, I don't want to just ride around town with them on all the time because they clip off just as easily as they clip on.  So hopefully I remember to put them on before I leave the apartment next time I know a rain storm is coming.

Well, no mas tiempo para email esta dia.

Tengo muchas amor papa mi familia!
