Como esta la Familia?
Whew! I have to say that I am so happy the college class decisions are over for now. Thank you so so much mom for all your help in that process. I have no idea what I would have done without all your help. You saved me. You always do. I have been really blessed as far as preparing for school goes. I am currently blind as far as what I will need to be studying after the mission. But the good news is that I have help! The biggest help has been my Mom! You are a super star! Right after that, I was blessed to have a mission friend who will be going to BYU with me this fall living with me in my apartment. He helped teach me how to use the BYU website. But like I said Mom, you are first in line as far as help goes with all the college prep because I'm pretty sure that the things I figured out on the BYU website only made your job harder in terms of making my schedule and picking classes.
We went to the Temple today. So P-day was today instead of Monday. We get to go once every six months in this mission. Going to the Temple was a wonderful experience as always. I love the Temple. General Conference is this Weekend! I'm so excited for that!
Yea! I sure did feel that Earthquake! It was sweet! It hit right as I was stepping out of the bathroom from brushing my teeth. I kinda tripped/stumbled for a second but I didn't fall. I was pretty tired that day so I just chalked it up as missed footing until one of the other Elders in the apartment yelled out, "Hey can you feel that? Its an earthquake!" We all froze for a second in hopes that we would keep feeling the effects of it. It was so cool! I got to surf it out (if it can even be called that)standing. I'm sure there is a better way to describe it, but the closest description I can give for how it felt is it was similar to the dizzy feeling you get when you stand up too fast...but the difference is that there wasn't any type of head rush/about to pass out sensation. And now that I think about it, the reason it felt that way to me might have been effected by the fact that I was tired. But either way, It was sweet! I think it was a total of 8-10 seconds. After it was all over, we realized that the only smart one in the entire apartment of us 4 missionaries was Elder A. He was crouched under his study desk. So yea! We all felt it! And it was lots of fun! Cool Huh?
Hmmm other cool stuff with the few moments i got left....
Oh! We are teaching this awesome guy right now who's name is Benjamin! He has been a potential for a while because it has been hard to catch him in his house. When I told him that my name is Benjamin too he taught me a new Spanish word: Tocayo. It's a word that specifically means that we have the same name. It's always fun when we see him. He always yells out, "Hey! Como esta mi Tocayo?!? Como le fue hoy dia?" But more than just having common names, He is a super cool guy. In our first visit with him, he basically conducted the whole thing. It was the sweetest first visit ever. It was so sweet. He established all the expectations that we hope to establish with our investigators in the first visit. Everything that left his mouth was straight from Preach my Gospel in the 10 points section. Hmmmmm.....wish I had more time. But I have to go.
We need to go get a few more things done before our lessons tonight.
Love You!
